No matter your skill level, our curriculum is tailored to accommodate beginners and take them through to more experienced skills as they progress through our levels. We have carefully structured each level to provide a progressive learning experience, ensuring that your students develop a solid foundation and continuously grow as a breakdancer. Level 1 is the starting point, where students learn the fundamental moves and techniques that form the building blocks of breakdancing. Starting with basic footwork, freezes, and power moves, helping them to develop coordination, rhythm, and body awareness. As your student’s progress to Level 2, they will delve deeper into the art of breakdancing and continue to expand their repertoire of footwork patterns, transitions, and more advanced freezes as they progress through the levels.
Level 3 focuses on improving your student’s musicality and stage presence, allowing students to express themselves with confidence and style and introducing them to the world of power moves. They will start mastering advancing spins, flips, and intricate combinations. You will also see an increase in activities to assist your students to build strength, flexibility, and control, enabling them to execute these dynamic moves with precision. In Level 4 they progress on to refine their technique further while exploring the art of “top rocking” and “down rocking” in more detail. This level emphasizes creativity and freestyle, encouraging students to experiment with different steps, rhythms, and improvisation. It's all about encouraging them to find their unique performing presence as a breakdancer.
Level 5 and 6 are reserved for the break dancers that have progressed with their skills and are dedicated to pushing the limits of their performance with more complex floorwork, transitions, and intricate footwork patterns that challenge their agility and control. Students are encouraged to continue to develop their own personal style and extend their abilities to seamlessly flow from one move to another. They will also tackle complex power moves, difficult freezes, and mind-boggling combinations that will truly challenge them.
